Lomelo’s is owned by Jorge Lorenzo, Jason Spiewak, and Javier Melo. Javier and Jorge grew up together and became friends with Jason later in life. The three share a passion for preparing and eating the finest food. But they were never able to find a butcher or grocery service that consistently lived up to their standards. They decided to create a new twist on a time-tested concept to provide others with the quality they envisioned. A completely modern market with the best customer service in the industry.

While Wagyu beef is where we got started, we also sell seafood, create wine pairings, and offer our own brand of salts and spices. We carry the quality and uniqueness of Wagyu beef forward in everything we do, from preparation to presentation to our recommended recipes. What is Wagyu Beef?
Wagyu beef is the best; a cut above prime. For a long time prime beef was the gold standard, and there’s nothing wrong with prime beef... but Wagyu is better. It’s incredibly rich, sumptuous, and marbled. Even cuts which are considered less flavorful such as Filet Mignon are known to leave your mouth watering for more when they come from Wagyu cattle.
